  India captain Virat Kohli and his actor wife Anushka Sharma have donated ₹2 crore to a fund-raising project, which will raise a total of ₹7 crore to support the country's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The two are raising money through crowd-funding platform Ketto. "...Virat Kohli and Bollywood superstar Anushka Sharma are aiming to raise Rs. 7 crore for COVID relief in India," a press release from the celebrity couple stated. "They are kickstarting a fundraising campaign #InThisTogether on the crowd-funding platform Ketto and are putting Rs. 2 crore for this initiative." The campaign will run for seven days on Ketto and the proceeds will be directed to ACT Grants, the implementation partner which will work towards providing oxygen, medical manpower, vaccination awareness and tele-medicine facilities all through the pandemic and the amount.

The most recent threat comes through a link being shared on the chat platform that can let hackers gain access to the device on which it is opened. The new threat link is being shared under the name WhatsApp Pink and claims that it can turn the theme of WhatsApp from its iconic green to that of pink colour. The link also offers additional features to lure victims and tries to legitimise its existence by deeming the theme a new official look by WhatsApp. Several WhatsApp users have reported receiving such a link on their phones, while many have forwarded it without knowing its real purpose. However, a cyber expert has warned that the link performs no actions as advertised and instead is a tool for hackers to gain access to a target device.
